This Is Parenthood: (Mis)Adventures of Life with Kids
Today, Hannah walked in and wanted me to play with her magnetic fishing poles. I was sitting on the toilet.

This morning, Hannah wanted Cream of Wheat. I’ve never made Cream of Wheat before and it looks gross. I made her oatmeal instead while she was in the other room and told her it was Cream of Wheat.
Then she finished the bowl and wanted more. I still don’t know how to make Cream of Wheat, but she has this terrible looking bowl of mush sitting in front of her now, which is “too hot” for her to eat. I used the same water as for the oatmeal and didn’t heat it up any more.
It’s not too hot. It’s just gross and she doesn’t want to eat it.

Now she’s sitting in the living room with a sleeve of saltines.
What a difference a day makes…
Friday night:

Saturday night:

First haircut for either of our kids. Of course it was the youngest who got his hair cut first.
After running around the house naked following dinner, Hannah finally put on… necklaces.

Getting ready for Ralph Breaks the Internet!
Much needed Daddy-daughter date night. This little one has been driving me crazy the last few days. She is so defiant and doesn’t want to do anything I say. 3.5 going on 15 for sure.

Watching a Christmas classic tonight: Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.

Hannah was very insistent about carrying around her “stuffies”… all her stuffies.
